Services - Mortgage & Subsidence Reports
Tree reports for home buyers
Surveyors, insurers, and mortgage lenders commonly require a preliminary report on the relationship of trees / built structures prior to property purchase. The main drive of the assessment is to have specialist arboricultural appraisal of the potential for woody vegetation to cause direct or indirect damage to a property or other structure. We offer prompt reports to suit the requirements of insurance and mortgage companies, aiming to have the finished product to you within 24-48hrs.
Our reports are in conjunction with the Association of Mortgage and Insurers Users Group (AMIUG) and our surveyors are specially trained and licensed to provide this product.
We offer a rapid report turnaround to minimise any delays in the house buying process. We offer this service for a fixed price of £340.00+VAT (within a 50 mile radius of PL21).
Subsidence Investigations
Building subsidence is caused when underlying soil is subject to volumetric change. Trees can play a part in this process; however, the significance of their contribution must be fully assessed.
Aspect Tree Consultancy offers specialist technical expertise where trees (or other woody vegetation) have been implicated in subsidence damage to property. Our consultants work independently, or as part of a team of specialists, to systematically explore all avenues to identify the root of the problem. The investigation process can be complex and wide ranging and may include: desk based research; elimination of other factors; interpretation of crack and level monitoring data; field data capture; soil analysis; root starch testing; DNA lab testing.
