Services - Tree Safety
Trees are large dynamic organisms which confer many benefits to society as a whole. They are an important resource which requires responsible management. Landowners are legally responsible for the trees that they own, however, the management of trees should not be difficult, onerous or excessively expensive. There are various elements to assessing the ‘safety’ of trees.
The starting point is to undertake a preliminary Survey & Risk Assessment to evaluate if there is a need to ‘inspect’ trees in any detail. Our risk management systems provide tree owners with a sensible, affordable and simple appraisal of their trees.
All our tree inspectors / surveyors are QTRA licensed users. (Quantified Tree Risk Assessment)
This service includes:
Strategic overviews
If you own or manage trees then we can provide an overview of your risk and liability. This allows the most efficient use of resources i.e. which trees need inspecting and on what frequency, and which require a minimal assessment. Inspections and surveys can be tailored to suit budgets and to ensure money is spent where it is needed most.
Walkover surveys
These provide an appraisal of an area of trees in relation to the use of the site. They identify the general condition of trees, the general level of risk and which trees require a more detailed inspection. The walkover survey is a cost effective and sensible approach to start with.
Detailed Tree Inspections
We provide detailed inspections to assess the condition and health of trees. This may include, aerial inspection, decay mapping, disease identification and analysis.
